Islamabad: In Punjab, the computerisation of land record has been completed in eight districts. The districts are Kasur, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Mandi Baha-ud-Din, Nankana Sahib, Jhang, Jhelum and Lodhran.
A spokesman of the Punjab Board of Revenue said that process to computerise land in the remaining 28 districts is in progress, and is expected to be completed shortly. He said, now, any citizen can get the record of his piece of land in just 30 minutes while its transfer record in 50 minutes.
