All set for anti-mosquito drive


KARACHI: On the directives of Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhter Farooqui, Municipal Services Department is going to start an anti-mosquito spray drive on 27th June (today) all over Karachi which would end on 7th July.

Farooqui said that the spray drive against dengue and malaria would be continued, according to schedule, in every part of the city.

“Weather change gives birth to many diseases which should be curbed,” he said.

According to the schedule, the drive would be carried out in 18 towns in the evening, starting from Saddar and Lyari on 27th June (today) and ending on 7th July in Landhi Town.

All the in charges of malaria and dengue fever control programme are ordered to remain on their duties and citizens are requested to keep food items covered during the spray.
