Anti-encroachments squad recovers 10 acres land


KARACHI: The anti-encroachments staff of KMC during an operation in Korangi Chakra Goth recovered 10 acres of land which had been allocated for the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law University.

On the directive of Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui, the anti-encroachments team of KMC under the supervision of director anti-encroachments Mazhar Khan carried out an noperation in Korangi where the land grabbers had occupied the land and established concrete structure on it.

The land grabbing agents opened fire and pelted stone on the-anti encroachments staff and their vehicles, however, the police and rangers controlled the situation and arrested four accused while the anti-encroachment squad completed its operation.

Deputy Commissioner Zubair Ahmed Channa, Additional Deputy Commissioner Waseemuddin, Assistant Commissioner Imtiaz Abro, Deputy Director Land Asif Jatha, Deputy Director Land KDA Atif Naqvi and other officers were also present on this occasion.
