Karachi: Another dengue viral fever case was reported in Hyderabad on Monday, increasing the number of confirmed cases to 144 in Sindh province so far, said Focal Person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr Shakeel Aamir Mullick.
Dr Mullick said a total of 147 dengue fever cases have so far been reported in 2014 in Pakistan, out of which 136 were reported from Karachi, two in Hyderabad and six from the rest of Sindh. He said three dengue cases were also reported from Balochistan province.
He said that a dengue patient had expired in city this year so far. He said one new dengue fever case was reported (01 in-patient) from Hyderabad on 24th March 2014.
