Four killed, three injured in Karachi violence


KARACHI: Four persons were killed and three others injured in different violence acts in the city on Sunday. A five-year-old minor girl was found dead from a house in Bheempura, Lyari. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victim girl could not be ascertained yet.

A 30-year-old man, Hidayat, son of Haleem, was strangulated to death by unidentified men in Bara Board area, Golimar. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

In another incident of firing, a 30-year-old man, Naeem, son of Sardar Ali, was killed and two other persons were injured. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.

The body of a tortured person was found from a house in Bengali Para area of Korangi. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a postmortem.

According to police, the man was killed in firing and his identity could not be confirmed yet.

A police officer Mubeen was injured during a robbery attempt on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Drigh Road area. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical centre for treatment.
