FPCCI is hub to stabilize economy: Commissioner

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said on Tuesday that Federation House (FPCCI) is main center for stabilizing the economy of Pakistan, running the wheel of industries and providing employment to people.

He said on the occasion of his visit to Federation House. President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FOCCI) Zakaria Usmani, Senior Vice President Shauqat Ahmed, Vice President Ismail Sattar, Vice President Khurram Saeed, Chairmen Standing Committee Sheeraz, Secretary Mir Alam and Director Media Commissioner Karachi Mohammad Shabeeh Siddiqui were present.

Usmani said government, specially Karachi Administration, was worthy of congratulation for sound security on the eve of Muharram-ul-Haram and Eid-ul-Azha.

While expressing satisfaction over the government measurements regarding peace in Karachi, he said they had concern over the increasing street crimes and extortion, so government should take solid security steps in this regard.

Usmani said businessmen and industrialists feel extreme insecure and uncomfortable due to extortion and crimes.
