KARACHI: Indian actor Raza Ali Murad said that Pakistani artists are loved by Indian people alike. He was addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club (KPC). Along with Raza’s wife, President KPC Imtiaz Khan Faran and Secretary KPC Amir Latif were also present.

He said Pakistanis are very good hosts, it is the love of Pakistanis which has brought me here and I am on a private tour. “Had there been a contest in Olympics for hospitability, Pakistan would have won it every time,” he said.

Murad said my other fellow colleagues also want to visit Pakistan, even I had once heard Amitabh Bachchan, Indian actor, desiring to visit Pakistan.

“Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam), once sent Amitabh a request to come to Pakistan and I hope that he may sooner visit Pakistan,” he said.

To a query, he said if offered I will surely act in Pakistani films or dramas and it will be a pleasure for me.

Concluding the event he read a poem in praise of Pakistani people.
