KARACHI: Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has declared Karachi University Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry the most productive scientist of the country.
Chaudhry is related with International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi.
According to a release issued by the university on Sunday, PCST had published its new directory ‘Productive Scientists of Pakistan 2013-14’, in which more than 1700 most productive scientists and researchers belonging to different governmental and private institutions included while Choudhry has been given top number in the list.
Six other Scientists of Karachi University included in the list are: Dr Syed Ghulam Musharraf (17 number) Dr Ata-ur-Rehman (20), Dr Zaheer-ul-Haq (24), Prof Dr Khalid Muhammad Khan (28), Dr Muhammad Riza Shah (52) and Prof Dr Waqaruddin Ahmad (92).
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor Karachi University Dr Muhammad Qaisar has felicitated all the seven scientists on their achievement.
