KARACHI: Legal fraternity has announced to boycott the proceedings of Sindh High Court and lower courts throughout Sindh province on Thursday against the killing of advocate Mubarak Raza Kazmi in Karachi.
An advocate, Syed Mubarak Raza Kazmi, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Block 13 D-2, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Following the incident, SHC Bar Association (SHCBA) and Karachi Bar Association (KBA) announced to boycott the court proceedings.
SHCBA president ZK Jatoi has strongly condemned the incident and urged provincial government and law enforcers to arrest the assailants. He asked the lawyers community to stay away from the court proceedings.
