MQM MPA visits schools to review security

KARACHI: Member of Provincial Assembly Sindh Nishat Mohammad Zia Qadri on Tuesday demanded that foolproof security should be ensured at regional level, particularly around schools for security of teachers and students.

“The district administration should erect barriers for ensuring peace and saving children from terrorism,” he said during his visit to John’s and other schools, and colleges located along Drigh road. He was accompanied by administrator Korangi Abdul Rasheed Khan.

Assistant Commissioner Shah Faisal Zone Hasan Raza, Director Health DMC Korangi Rafique Shaikh, Senior Director Parks Javed Qureshi and Talat Mehmood were also present on the occasion.

During visit to John’s School Grigh road, he met school administration, teachers and students where he discussed security and municipal facilities around the school. Qadri instructed district administration to ensure immediate elimination of encroachments around the school besides ensuring cleanliness and other civic facilities.
