Karachi: Pakistan U19 cricket team recorded a massive 159-run triumph against Lancaster University in a T20 match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Pakistan U19 batted first in the match and put on board a big total of 204-5 in 20 overs. Kamran Ghulam and skipper Sami Aslam batted well for the side scoring 99 and 60 runs respectively. Sam Dyson captured a four-wicket haul for Lancaster.
Lancaster University in response collapsed putting on board only 45 runs before losing all of their wickets in 12.2 overs. Sam Walsh top scored for the side with 23 runs. Zafar Gohar and Karamat Ali captured three wickets each while Zia-ul-Haq took two wickets for the victors in the match.
Lancaster University cricket team is visiting Pakistan for an inter-varsity cricket tournament.
