Poet protests against fake cases


Karachi: Famed Sindh and Urdu poet: writer and critics and writer of five books Naseer Soomro has complained that some vested interests are getting registered fake cases against him.

Joint secretary of Sindh Abadi Sangat Karachi chapter and member of Anjuman Tarqi Pasand Musanfeen Naseer Soomro in a statement said three fake cases on fabricated charges have been lodged against him and he is constantly receiving threatening telephones. He requested the Sindh chief minister: governor and inspector general police Sindh to take notice of his harassment.

He said after a cardiac surgery and prolonged joblessness he has already been facing a lot of problems. He said if justice is not provided to him he would sit on a hunger strike till death before Karachi Press Club (KPC).
