Karachi: Mohammad Hussain Chattha has clinched 8th National Tenpin Bowling Championship title at Leisure City Bowling Club in Islamabad.
The championship was spread over a week in which players from Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, FATA and Islamabad participated.
The tournament was played in singles, doubles, team and amateur categories. In men’s singles event final, Hussain outclassed his opponents with total score of 351 out of two games and cashed Rs 75,000. Ashiq Ali closely followed him with total score of 348 and pocketed Rs 50,000. Ahmer Suldhera bagged 304 points to secure third position and received Rs 15,000.
In doubles category, Zafar Iqbal and Ashiq Ali team dominated with score of 713 to clinch top position. Faizan and Sadaqat Ali team came second with score of 657 while Ahmer and Danyial with a score of 623 points, secured third position.
