Sports: Cricket: Basit Ali named Junior Selection Committee chief


Karachi: Former Test cricketer Basit Ali has been appointed as the chief selector of the Junior Selection Committee. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced that Basit will be leading the Junior Selection Committee. Two another former Test cricketers Ali Naqvi and Farrukh Zaman and Ali Zia of National Coaching Academy will be member selection committee. Basit Ali, who has played 19 Tests and 50 ODIs for Pakistan, has already been a part of the PCB as its Cricket Consultant for Zone-I.
