Three alleged terrorists killed in encounter

KARACHI: Law enforces agencies killed three alleged terrorists and arrested two others in wounded condition in a targeted operation in Manghopir area of the city on late Friday night.

Rangers spokesman said that on a tip-off, rangers personnel conducted a targeted operation at Ijtima Gah in Manghopir and killed three terrorists in an exchange of fire while two others were arrested in injured condition, a rangers man was also injured during the operation.

Rangers spokesman claimed that this pack of militants was belong to a banned organization and they were involved in an attack on the paramilitary troops Karachi headquarter in Nazimabad, target-killing of policemen, and other heinous crimes.

Rangers’ sources claim to have recovered a huge cache of explosives, including suicide jackets, pistols, and Hand grenades from the possession of the terrorists.

The deceased were identified as Shah Wali, 20, Saeed Hussain, 25, Jawaid, 30. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
