KARACHI: Two persons were killed and eight others injured in separate incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday. The bullet-riddled body of a man, Roshan Ali, 27, son of Mohammad Panah, was found from Bugti Goth, Marium Bagh in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy. The victim was the resident of Gulshan-e-Hadeed and permanent dweller of Larkana.
According to police sources, police found his body from bushes along Marium Bagh Road in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and shifted it to hospital. Unknown accused shot him dead him somewhere and later threw his body in the bushes.
In another incident, a youth, Dolat Khan, 25, was shot dead and other Baz Mohammad, 30, son of Noor Mohammad, was injured by unidentified armed men within jurisdiction of KIA police station in Korangi Industrial Area. The body and injured were shifted to JPMC for treatment and medico-legal formalities.
Yet in another incident, four persons, known to be passersby, Sajjad, 35, son of Fazal Hussain; Arif, 60, son of Imam Gul, Waheed, 31, son of Abdul Aziz; and Mohammad Shafi, 50, son of Alana, were injured in a cracker attack near Eidhi Center, Lasi Para in Baldia.
They were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment. Station House Officer (SHO) Madina Colony informed that a blast occurred near Edhi Center, Lasi Para, Baldia No 04, when two rangers vehicles were passing from there. However, rangers personnel remained safe.
Yet in another incident, one Aftab, 35, son of Amjid was shot and injured by unknown armed men in FB Area Block-16. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
Separately, Zahid Hussain, 23, son of Akhtar Hussain, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Fareed Colony, Orangi Town. The injured was rushed to CHK for treatment.
Meanwhile, two bandits were seriously injured when citizens beat them in Al-Asif Square area, Sohrab Goth. Later they identified as Malang, 40 son of Ali, Abdul Jabbar, 35 son of Burhanuddin. They were rushed to JPMC for treatment.
