Two killed, four injured in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and four others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

A man, Tariq, was killed and a women, wife of Shamraiz, injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on their car near Abdullah College in North Nazimabad. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy and treatment, respectively. The victim was the driver of police officer Shamraiz. They were on their way to pick children from the school.

A man, aged about 28, was gunned down by unknown armed men at Afshani Street, Lyari. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, two teenagers, Amir Ali, 19, son of Buzrug Mian and Mohammad Noor, 20, son of Syed Hussain, were injured in firing by unidentified armed men. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.

Yet in another incident, a man, Mehdi Hasan, 30, was shot and injured near Khan coach bus stop in Shireen Jinnah Colony. The injured was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
