KARACHI: Personnel of Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, along with their own counsel produced two alleged target killers, Danish Rehmani and Mohammad Nadeem, before ATC Judge amid security. The paramilitary force had information about their alleged involvement in targeted killing and other offences.
They contended that suspects were required to be questioned for their alleged involvement in criminal activities.
According to Rangers, accused Danish was arrested during a raid in Nazimabad, while Nadeem was arrested from Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Suspects belong to a political party. The recent amendments in Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 Section II EEEEE in November 2013 have authorized the paramilitary force to detain suspects till three months for interrogations.
