KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and member Sindh Assembly, Dr Seema Zia on Wednesday regretted that in various parts of the country women were not fully given their rights, particularly they were kept deprived from their share in father property.
She was talking to a delegation of PTI women wing at Party central media cell Karachi.
The lawmaker said that more than half population of the country consists on women and women had always played a key role in democratic movements of the country. “Progress of society is impossible without role of women,” she added.
She said that laws regarding women issues were exist in the country but unfortunately the same were not being implemented. She vowed that she would play her due role on the assembly floor to resolve the women issue.
