Karachi: Anti-Terrorism Court-III (ATC-III) on Tuesday remanded two accused target killers Qalbe Abbas alias Shobi and Faraz Baloch to police custody till 03 December 2013 in student murder and illegal weapons possessions cases.
Police produced the two accused in police mobile before ATC-III Judge Saleem Raza Baloch under tight security. Investigation Officer Mohammad Nadeem Siddiqui requested the court for further interrogation about the cases, which was accepted.
According to prosecution, accused Qalbe Abbas and Faraz Baloch were alleged involved in murder of Zia Rehman, a student of Banori Town, who was shot dead on 05 November. The accused were also blamed to be involved others sectarian killing incidents.
Police had recovered two SMGs, a 9 mm pistol and a TT pistol. Police arrested accused Qalbe Abbas on 18 November during a raid.
FIR 444/2013 was registered under Sectionss 302 (premeditated murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code at Jamshed Quarter plice station.
