LAHORE: All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) delegation on Tuesday returned home after a ten-day three-country visit.
The delegation, headed by APPMA leader and Senior Vice Chairman of Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Khamis Saeed Butt, had fruitful meetings with their counterparts Belgium, Turkey and United Kingdom.
The delegates including APPMA Senior Vice Chairman Ahmad Amin Malik, Muhammad Ajmal, Samiullah Butt, Imran Khalid, Muhammad Raza, Shan Liaquat, Haji Muhammad Rashid, Azhar Mehmood, Ajmal Saeed Butt, Mirza Amjad Baig, Shahzada Khurram, Humayun Babar, Naqi Raza and Syed Zahid Bukhari had business meetings besides visiting a number of paper manufacturing units.
Khamis Saeed Butt while terming the visit a big success said that the delegation had learnt a lot about the new business techniques in vogue in the developed world. He said that the paper delegation got unmatched response during their stay abroad. He said that the APPMA would arrange more delegations in future as well.
He said that their visit to Book fair in the UK was also very informative that would bring excellence in the paper business. He said that in Belgium, they had meeting with investment related organizations where they were informed of the positive role being played by Pakistan Consul General in Belgium.
