Chairman Task Force on Housing Zaigham Rizvi has reiterated the government's commitment for construction of five million houses in the country.
Addressing a function in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said two million houses will be constructed in rural areas of the country.
Zaigham Rizvi said United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arab, Malaysia and Qatar have expressed keen interest for investment in the Prime Minister House Scheme.
He said World Bank has agreed to provide technical support for the scheme.
He further said various sites for construction of these houses have been identified across the country.
