Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Inayatullah Khan has asked NADRA, Election Commission and Media to assist the PTI led coalition provincial government in holding in-time and transparent local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said reservations of Election Commission of Pakistan in regard bio-metric system would be removed.
He expressed these views while addressing a seminar on Women Political Representation at a local hotel Peshawar on Tuesday. The seminar was arranged by Khwendo Kor.
MPAs Meraj Humayun, Uzma Khan, Rashida Riffat, Nasim Hayat, Dr. Iqbal Khalil, Dr. Sohail, Malik and a large number of women participated in the seminar. Meraj Humayun, Rashida Riffat and Dr. Iqbal Khalil also addressed the seminar.
Inayatullah Khan said women could participate in the coming local government elections on the general seats. He stressed the need of girls’ education for awaring the women about their rights in the society. He said the women should come forward and concentrate on achieving education for making the society a prosperous, developed and educated one.
