Peshawar:,,, Haroon Sarab Diyal, Chairman All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement, and Member National Lobbying Delegation CWS / PDF, Pakistan has diverted attentions of concerned circles towards injustices with people from Hindu community who are being deprived of their just lawful properties by influential.
Through a letter, addressed to Chief Minister, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haroon Sarab Diyal states, that Mr. Allah Rakha S/O Ram Charan resident of RA Bazar Lal Kurti, Nowshera cantt.
Was deprived of his residential plot by an influential who is counted amongst the blue-eyed of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak He informed that Allah Rakha is owner of a Five Marla Plot in Madina Colony, Nowshera having transfer deed etc in his name .
The plot has been forcefully taken over by one Mr. Abdul Manan on 18-5-2014 who has a plot of two canals besides the appellant. The appellant has knocked at the doors of various influential people of the area but he received no response simply because he belongs to Hindu community.
He has also submitted application to Doctor Suran Singh, Minister of Minority Affairs, Govt. of KPK (Copy enclosed) but his grievances still exists.
It may be mentioned that the illegal encroachment on properties of Hindu Community is on the rise in the Province. A few days ago some people have taken possession of house of a member of our community on Warsak Road which was vacated after a lot of efforts with the help of Jirga members of the area but he has to suffer loss of a few lac rupees.
Haroon informed that safety of lives and asset of Minority Community is the prime responsibility of the government as they themselves cannot fight against the influential and groups of Qabza Mafia.
The problem is rising highly in the province and if not addressed will bring bad name for the Province and the country. The Minority Community is living peacefully in the province alongside their Muslim brothers.
The Hindu Community had no problem from their majority Muslim population in the past. We as representatives of the Hindu Community struggle hard to maintain harmony among different communities of the country. But it seems that some miscreants are disturbing this relationship and creating law and order situation in the province.
He requested that due attention may be given to solution of the problem so as to stop its spread to other areas and that it do not disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the province.
Haroon reminded that it is not first ever act of illegal occupation of Hindu community’s properties. In several cities and towns of the province even at Nowshehra native district of Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, temples, houses and other properties of Hindu community are in occupation of others.
