Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Atif Khan Wednesday paid surprise visit to various examination centers situated on Warsak Road Peshawar and checked the measures to curb cheating in the SSC examination.
During the visit to Khyber Grammar School for boys, Warsak Road examination hall, the Minister for Education observed that the performance of the supervisory/invigilatory staff was not satisfactory.
Moreover, it was also observed by the Minister that the superintendent Mr. Saleem Khan, SST GHS Behlola, Charsadda, Mr. Muhammad Daud Khan, SET GHS Behlola, Charsadda, Mr. Arshad Ali, PST GHS Behlola Charsadda and Mr. Shahid Bahishti from GHS Behlola Charsadda were deputed for the examination duty from the same school and their locality also raised reservations and doubts about deputing the supervisory/ invigilatory staff through computerized draw.
The Minster for Education ordered for initiating disciplinary proceedings against the supervisory/invigilatory staff under the E&D Rules 2011.
He directed, Director Schools to initiate disciplinary case against the above named Supervisory/invigilatory staff on the charges of misconduct, inefficiency, negligence and dishonesty as the supervisory/invigilatory staff failed to perform their examination duty according to the Govt. instructions.
Chairman BISE Peshawar was also instructed to immediately change the supervisory/invigilatory staff and blacklist them for the next examinations.
The centres that visited by the Minister included Peshawar Public School for boys, Khyber Grammar School for boys, Peshawar Model School for boys and Frontier Model School for boys, Warsak Road Peshawar.
