Peshawar: The National Youth Parliament on Monday announced to hold a three-day youth-festival in Islamabad next month and youth from different countries are expected to participate in the event.
National Youth Parliament central president Tauseef Abbasi, announced in a news conference that the basic objective of the conference to raise the issues discussed in the youth parliament in Pakistan’s parliament..
He said youth from more than 55 countries, would attend the parliament is being planned to be held at Islamabad from 15 to 18 April besides a youth festival is being also planned to be held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in May which is aimed at to create awareness among the youth.
He said very soon the activities of National Youth Parliament would be extended to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata and for the purpose election would be conducted to elect members for NYP in this region.
He informed that a total of 342 elected members from various regions in the country are playing important to raise general issues and attract the attention of parliamentarians to debate it in country’s parliament.
