Peshawar:,,, Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Mehtab Ahmad Khan has said that operation Zarb-e-Azb would conclude in few weeks following which IDPs would be resettled in their homes.
Talking to media in governor house on Wednesday governor Mehtab Ahmad Khan said that North Waziristan had become the hub of terrorism therefore a massive operation had been started against terrorists.
He said that foreign and local terrorists would be eliminated from Waziristan and government writ would be established after restoring peace in North Waziristan. He said that the tribal of North Waziristan had committed that no foreign would be allowed to live in North Waziristan.
Governor said that order had been issued to pay them their salaries in Bannu besides political agent had been directed to establish its camp office in Bannu to help solve the problems of IDPs.
Earlier, governor inaugurated Electronic Money Transfer under Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif’s Package for Displaced Persons’ of North Waziristan. On this occasion he distributed mobile Sims in tribal elders of North Waziristan following which money had been transferred in to their Sims.
Governor said that Data of 25 thousands families had been varied by NADRA and that had been shifted to the mobile company which would now released Rs 40 thousands to the displaced families.
With this Sim, Governor said that now cash amount for their daily needs would be available to IDPs at nearest spot of their residence. He said this would facilitate the IDPs to cash the amount without being waiting in long lines.
Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) and Zong Mobile Company signed a Memorandum of understanding to pay cash amount to IDPs through mobile Sims.
