Peshawar: Senior Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa on Wednesday tendered resignation from Khyber Pukhtunkhwa cabinet.
According to Amir ul Azim central spokesman for Jamat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq was facing hard to continue as minister as he heading Jamat-e-Islami as Amir which is hard job alone therefore he resign of provincial cabinet to focus on party.
He said Sirajul Haq submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Khyber Pukhtunkhwa on Wednesday morning after which he vacated the seat to senior minister and minister finance Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
He was elected as Amir of Jamat-e-Islami to replace Syed Munawar Hassan in March this year. Party sources said that being Amir Sirajul Haq would now devote more time to party.
A new member of Jamat-e-Islami in provincial assembly would now be allotted the slot of senior minister and minister finance in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa cabinet.
