Milli Yeh Jehti Council

QUETTA: world forces were at work to sabotage unity of Muslims at the international level through sectarianism. Milli Yek Jehti Council of religious parties would play its role for country’s stability and defence of Islamic ideologies. It is our desire JUI should be included but despite our insistence it did not join this alliance.

These views were expressed by Central President Milli yek Jehti council Dr Allama Abul Khair Zubair and Central Secretary General Liaqat Baloch while addressing a press conference after a meeting at MPAs hotel here Monday.

Newly elected Provincial president Milli Yek Jehti council Abdul Mateen Akhundzada and other Ulema were also present.

Liaqat Baloch said that Balochistan is suffering from problems and difficulties since long. Instead of end of deprivation it was increasing. State functionaries kept people’s representatives away from parliament and handed over mandate to someone else. Innocent people were killed by deteriorating situation in the name of Shia Sunni. He Sid our sympathies are with the affected people. We would do our best to improve situation in Balochistan.

He said membership of Milli Yek jehti Council has been completed in three provinces but these are delayed in Balochistan. In fact there was desire to include JUI-F into the folds and we held meetings with Maulana Fazlur Rehman several times but failed to convince him.

He said a meeting of Milli Yek Jehti Council was held at MPAs hostel here today with Abul Khair Zubair in which after consultation Amir Jamaat Islami Balochistan Abdul Mateen Akhundzada was elected as provincial President.

Liaqat Baloch said that MYC is religious organisation of religious parties which is working to end sectarianism among the people and love between Muslims.

He said world forces were engaged in their dirty designs to break unity of Muslims but the way our leaders Shah Muhammad Noorani, Qazi Hussain Ahmed and other Ulema foiled their conspiracies in the same way parties in the alliance would not only foil these conspiracies but take measures to adopt golden principles of Islam to end sectarianism.
