Bushra calls for distributing donations among deserving

QUETTA:Bushra Rind, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Social Welfare, has urged the need for distributing donations amongst the most deserving strata of society.

These views were expressed by her during visit of SOS village here on Sunday. She said that the purpose of visiting SOS village was to spread happiness amongst the orphans living in SOS village, adding, “Whenever I get a spare time, I will spend it with orphan children”. Earlier, upon arrival, Rind was welcomed by former caretaker Minister, Khurshid Roshan Barucha.

Bushra Rind also distributed Rs. two lacs amongst orphans of SOS village, Quetta. On the occasion, MPA Khail Bano was also present. Meanwhile, Khalil Ahmed, President, APCA, Population Welfare Department, has announced to call off the protest movement, which has been continuing in the Department since July, 2021.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that since Secretary, Population Welfare Department, who has recently assumed the charge of the post of Secretary, Population Welfare Department, has assured the office bearers of APCA, PWD that the charter of demand of APCA would be addressed, therefore, All Pakistan Clerks Association, Population Welfare Department announces to call off the protest movement as a good will gesture.

He said that APCA, PWD, Balochistan would play its constructive role to activate the department, Welfare Centres of the department, district offices and to ensure the presence of employees at their respective places of posting. He called on authorities to withdraw all financial powers and responsibilities assigned to a Grade-14 official of Population Welfare Department, Balochistan apart from entertaining other demands of APCA, Population Welfare Department.
