QUETTA: A Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Quetta team claimed to have apprehended an alleged terrorist of a proscribed organization in an operation in Jabl-e-Noor area of the provincial capital on Thursday.

According to spokesperson for CTD Quetta, an alleged terrorist of a banned organization was arrested in an operation conducted at bus stand in Jabl-e-Noor area of Quetta on a tip-off provided by an informer.

Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of alleged terrorist during operation, the CTD further claimed. Spokesperson added that the alleged terrorist was apprehended while coming from Zhob to Quetta.
