QUETTA:National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Sunday dispatched another consignment of relief goods for the earthquake affectees of district Harnai in Balochistan province.

According to a statement issued by NDMA, another consignment of relief items, including 2000 tents, 100 school shelters, 2500 blankets, 100 sleeping bags, 155 quilts and 3000 healthcare kits, was dispatched to the earthquake affectees of District Harnai.

It may be noted that federal government has also announced to provide Rs12,000 aid to all the families of Harnai as an immediate relief. Relief cash assistance will be mobilized under the Ehsaas programme. This relief assistance will be in addition to compensation being planned for affected households after detailed damage assessment.
