Resolution moved against IJT criticized

QUETTA: Provincial Nazim, Islami Jamiat Tulaba (IJT), Sabir Panezai, has said resolution moved by one MPA of a Pushtoon nationalist party against Islami Jamiat Tulaba in Balochistan Provincial Assembly was nothing but an attempt to conceal the in competencies of the past and facts.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Sunday, Panezai said that those who destroyed educational institutions and educational system of the province in the name of educational emergency during their reign were now raising voice against IJT, adding that innocent pushtoons could no longer be hoodwinked in the name of Pushtoonistan.

He said that the said nationalist MPA ought to have moved resolution to public the report of commission constituted for probing the death of Saqiba Kakar and to implement the report of commission about the deaths of lawyers who were killed during the tenure of the said pushtoon nationalist party. He said that the activities of IJT were not hidden from anyone, adding that IJT strived to protect Islamic values and the rights of students in the educational institutions.

He said universities and colleges of the province had been turned into dance clubs. On the occasion, General Secretary, Islami Jamiat Tulaba, Fahad Khan and other office bearers were also present.
