Relief goods sent to Baluchistan quake affectees

Peshawar: On the directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khan Khattak, 13 trucks loaded with relief goods were sent on Friday under the supervision of the Advisor to CM on Relief and Rehabilitation Yasin Khan Khalil to the earthquake effected people of Baluchistan province. These relief supplies included 1000 tents, 1000 blankets and 200 mats.

On the occasion the advisor Yasin Khalil along with Secretary Relief and Settlement Awrang Zeb Khan apprised himself of the quality and quantity of the relief items and directed the officers concerned to take steps for safe dispatch of those items to Baluchistan.

Later, talking to media the CM advisor Yasin Khan Khalil stated that it was impossible to face the natural calamities. However, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the people of the province were equally grieved over the incident and were with the people of Baluchistan in this hour of tragedy.

He said on the directives of the CM they were in contact with the ministers and high officers of Baluchistan and would continue to support them in the relief operation in the province.
