Quetta: Balochistan University of Information Technology, Quetta arranged a weekly training programme for the teachers of Baluchistan titled “Safar_Moalim” on Tuesday.

Addressing the participants, corps Commander Balochistan, lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor paid gratitude to the management of University and said that teachers, educators and doctors are the unique, sacred and respectable professions because teachers and educators play a vital role in character building of the students towards excellence of the nation while doctors are the savioirs of the nation.

For the same purpose, when the Holy Quran was revealed so its initial words were” Iqra” meaning to read. He further said teachers basically elementary educators play a significant role in arranged the basic foundation of a nation because at the initial and primary stage whatever the mindset is established and instructions are given, the remaining entire life is spent on the same footings.

Such elementary instructions become the way for future programming. Along with educational activities, their spiritual, religious and social training is also the first and foremost step of the teachers so that they may play active and leading role in decision making, developing and eradication of issues pertaining to the nation in future.

It is the dire need of the hour and it appeals to the teachers that they may differentiate between the realities of life and fake philosophical thoughts so that our new generation may not become the prey to false and directionless narrative in future rather adopting to false narrative, they may be convinced by the powerful and research oriented narrative onwards.

Corps Commander Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor addressing at the end stated firmly on self-accountability that as a responsible nation it is our individual and collective responsibility that instead of mere criticizing, we should act upon the policy of self-accountability in performing domestic, national and social responsibilities. In his address, he also asserted that teachers may also try to minimize the level of no tolerance from the society to a possible extent.
