Shikarpur: Two youngsters were killed and six others injured in a road accident near Kundo Shaakh within the jurisdiction of Lakhi police station on Wednesday.

According to a report, four youngsters, Aqeel Ahmed Chandio, his nephew Muzammil Chandio, Aizaz Ahmed and Yousif Ahmed, were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding car.

As a result, two youngsters Aqeel Ahmed Chandio, 20, son of Rabnawaz Chando and his nephew Muzammil Chandio, 18, son of Imdad Ali Chandio, died on the spot while six other persons, including Aizaz Ahmed, son of Khadim Chandio; Yousif Ahmed, son of Imdad Ali Chandio; Aijaz Ahmed, Qamar Ali, Musamat Haajul, wife of Muhammad Ali, Fahad, son of Imtiaz Ali, Miss Memoona daughter of Zafar Ali and Dr. Irshad Ahmed, son of Muhammad Ameen Ghujno, received injuries.

The injured were sent to Shikarpur and Sukkur hospitals for treatment. The bodies were handed over to their heirs after conducting postmortem examination from a local hospital. Area police took the ill-fated motorcycle and car in their custody.
